Ingredients
- 3 Russet baking potatoes
- 1/2 tbs of Arom olive oil
- Sea salt to taste
- Black pepper
- Paprika
- Chilli powder
- Parsley flakes
- Parmesan
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 425 ºF
- Rinse and peel the Russet potatoes. slice the potatoes into long thin strips, about 1/4-inch thick. As you're slicing away, place the cut potatoes into a deep bowl filled with cold water. Soak for 20-30 minutes.
- Drain off the water and place the potatoes a colander. Rinse away the starch thoroughly and dry them off well.
- Place the dried-off potatoes in a clean bowl. Add the olive oil, salt, pepper and optional seasonings.
- Line two cooking sheets with silicone baking sheets or parchment paper. Arrange the fries in a single layer on the baking sheet, making sure there is room between each of them.
- Bake for about 45 minutes, flipping the fries 2-3 times during the process.
- Take them out when they are golden and crispy.
